Vacations!!

Next week I have my summer vacations, today I won't have much time, but tomorrow I think I'll continue doing maps for TCS, I remember I have started some maps from the DeathKings 2nd HUB (I think they were from the 2nd HUB, I don't quite remember it), anyway, I'll keep mapping for the week and maybe I will get it finished or at the half.

BTW, I was thinking on adding SE and TSP to MODDB, I think that adding KMOD was a great idea, there is some people who are fans from there, so it would make the project more popular and maybe bring more activity to the forums, but I would need some nice screenshots from something that we might have from that project to post them on the MOD profile, if we all agree on this, with my free time this week I'll be able to create the MOD profile for it and maybe even a cool banner for it! <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

No, I don't want to announce any more projects before they are mostly done, KA is not official neither, I want to announce it around the community once it's publicly released. Sure SE/TCS is a bit different, but if you look at the stuff concerning it that's up on the website (which hasn't been updated much lately) and consider that the vast majority of it has already been scrapped in the meantime (which is BTW normal for many commercial games too, no worries here), I'd say right now too little of SE/TCS is really cast into stone to be able to announce anything. And as for TSP, every single word about it on the website is false by now... If you really care about PR, first thing would be IMO to update the website, removing all the irrelevant stuff and building the KA section, KA might be officially released in the near future and at that point it'll get into the focus.

Yes, I figured this would be the more balanced option... I rememeber this guys who had a dream TC in hands and was doing it alone, and he was so utterly against the fan pressure, that he even went to the radical procedure of putting his site off-line and work on the tc as he wanted. I think the plan was of rasing from the dead once it's done, but since then I lost interest in Duke tcs and never checked it... Anyway, I decided today that my main focus should also be KA, we want to get it realeased fast (at least the ordinary version, without the extra features and game types), so please, the people who is most familiar with this project in particular, post on the KA needed work thread or my own thread what needs to be done in the 2d art departement. If nothing is directly needed, I'll have a look on the existing weapons and try to come up with more HUD mods or new animations, untill I'm told to stop?

OK, what's needed now, as you might remember is the sketch for the gargoyle's hand spells, they are needed to use the technique that you taught me to transform paper sketches to 2d sprites into the game, also if you want to suggest or help me think some other weapons besides the hand spells, that would make it easier to implement the new class in KA and move fast to some other stuff (like the new gameplay modes).

Of course, I've been doing the hands, but not only spells, I rememebr they would also use fangs as first weapons right? Now that you mention it, I should be able to upload what i have so far later today or tomorrow...

Yes that's cool! I hope to be able to do the sprites in this week, I have a lot of free time for it.
