I've used Apple iMovie that's available only on Mac OS X. <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

Hehe, I don't think it's actually that complicated, seen a lot of dudes making them allover the net, but I never really tried myself as I do not have the hard disk space to seriously think about any movie editting...

Sure there are many apps available on Windows, the thing is that with most of them you need like 10x the disk space of the movie file and every single step takes forever. iMovie is using the GPU of the 3D graphics card to calculate effects in real time and so the constant need of crunching the CPU and saving everything to HDD is gone. I've edited videos on Windows with several apps and on Mac OS with iMovie and the difference is insane.

At any rate spare me the propaganda and recommend some programs. <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

You can call it shitty propaganda, but the fact is that the real movie industry is using Macs too, just not with the entry-level iMovie but the professional Final Cut (also from Apple). If you have e.g. the Star Wars Episode 3 DVD, there is about an hour of footage making of and behind the scenes and I saw if I remember right one single guy of all people who used a Windows PC, everywhere else they used Macs. Face it, hating non-Windows stuff won't make Windows any better. Referrence to inflammatory remark censored.

Hey now, you know I'm kidding (or did you? I guess insults are taken a bit more lightly amongst friends in Canadian culture, heh. Regardless, sorry if I offended.). And I never said I hate non-Windows stuff.
