I didn't want to discuss this outside of the devforum, it's none of the fans' business. I originally wanted to use your live guitar version for the trailer, but when I got it from koraxdev and listened to it, it sounded strange, not sure whether it's a prob with my equipment or the exported version you uploaded, but while you play the live guitar in the left channel only (prob #1), the synth guitar seems to be playing too (prob #2). Since time was of the essence (I did have time to do this over the weekend, but if I'd have put it aside half-finished who knows when it'd have been finished), I just quickly remastered the MIDI in Garageband and put it under the movie as soundtrack. Not to mention importing an MP3 into the project and then exporting the movie with a different sound compression would've made it sound horrible, for projects like this I'll need uncompressed files (Garageband exports an uncompressed wave format).
At any rate, this is just a first attempt, I'm overall happy with the results because IMO it's better than any of the previous Korax trailers. It was also a proof of concept, the equipment and software I have right now is good enough to create cutscenes as movies into SE (or even KA), meaning we can do any kind of cutscenes now with an affordable amount of work, it doesn't have to be limited to Hexen and Strife style cutscenes only.
