Other games modded?

I've started with Doom (Dehacked) so long ago, then I modded Quake, then Duke, and soon I was learning how to mod other games pretty fast. I've modded Treadmarks, Tribes, Half-Life and Q3A, however I can make player models as well for plenty of games :O What other games have you modded before? (Oh i'd mention Heretic if I modded deep enough - all I did was turn the transparent puffs/smokes etc to big large colored boxes for "area fogging". Looked awesome at times.) Currently, Quake1 modding is my favorite thing to do also i'm starting to replace everything in Duke3d to something completely new, different, and well....crappy. Still, nobody's played a great FPS game with crap art and sound so it's a totally unique experience It's a work in progress tho. [img:29585100]http://www.planetquake.com/gargoyle/dukebob3.jpg[/img:29585100] Stuff will be wacky here. Pr0n mags will be cake recipie books, strippers will be soda machines (yep, something else to put your money into), and RPGs will be rocket pistols, sort of inspired by Bionic Commando (NES)'s rocket launcher. Of course sound will be replaced also, expect something along Strong Bad's "The system is down" techno when you enter the bar Of course my voice will probably replace the cheapoh oneliners. Midis are also replaced and I am sterile. You are getting warm - oh i'm sorry, it's the cheese that is.

I started modding with Unreal Tournament, then moved on to Quake3, then Quake 2, then Heretic 2 before finally settling here with Hexen.

The 4th Class

Back in the late 90's, I fooled around with my grandma's old Mac Classic and made a stategy/adventure game using HyperCard. It was dedicated (in a bad way) to former PM Brian Mulroney, who in several cases screwed up Canada's economy. It's kinda Zorkish, a bit primitive, and a bit unrealistic, but it's still pretty cool!

Ichor

The extend of my modding experience before Hexen was using HHE to change some map names and a few attributes in some of the monsters.

Firebrand

Well, I have started modding Doom (but I have never finished any projects I do start because I don't have time and stuff), the only thing I was about to finish were some crappy levels, but I lost them when my HD burned , now I'm on Korax' Heritage .

[quote="Moose":1nu5du2w]He he, yer soon I'll start on Wolf3D On my end, I got that project all down pat man. It's 1337! (and yes, that's the name, and I plan to intend to wear it out (and encourage everyone to) to get 1337 off our cases for good) http://mods.moddb.com/1896 and it all started with an unfortunate screenshot of another wolf3d mod (Kreml 3d).. :O this one in particular...

LOL my first computer game modding was sometime in the late 1980s on a Commodore C=16 where I took a text-only adventure program and changed a lot of the output texts, transforming the medieval setting into a modern world war one. It was quite funny, in the original game you found a stone that you could throw at the bandit and kill him, I converted it into a hand grenade, and it was a funny thing that after you threw the hand grenade at the enemy soldier and he died, you could look around and see a hand grenade you could pick up. Towards the end of the 80s I was also modding a graphical labyrinth game - I think I did some others on the C=16 too, but I don't remember (I wrote dozens of programs myself, back then I was a kind of programmer guy myself, in 1989 when I started with grammar school I stopped using that C=16 though and when I started with computers again some 5 years later, it was the PC world and there I never did much coding). After that, the next one I can remember was in the mid-90s when I replaced some of the textures in Dark Forces, the Coca Cola Coke neon ads in the sky in the Nar Shaddaa map were my favorites, I also remember in Jabba's ship where the Jabba on the painting had sunglasses on and also a quite obscene graffiti on one of the walls (I won't tell you more about that, ). In 1997, I made a Heretic episode (Hell's Surface, most peeps around her know it I think), and in 2000 I started with the Korax' Heritage project. Can't recall any other at this moment...
