I've been working a lot on texturing (well, actually more trying to learn it than really working), and with some luck and some nice tutorials, I've been able to successfuly translate real life photos to repeatable tiles, and from then on it was a matter of a lot of clone brush use, and tweaking with Hue, density and contrast values, aswell as free use of noise and blur to make them look more like Hexen. I'm still working on most of these, but I thought I could let you guys know what I'm doing, and how are they turning out. Here are some samples (taken inside the Church), of textures and flats that have no link with each other:

PS: As I said, most have problems with contrast, and even light level. While they all work as textures graphics, some just won't feel too natural, so a lot of beta testing should be done, in different kinds of architecture, light level, and spaces (high walls, open areas, slopes, etc..). It's just a quick look anyway.
Pics 7,8,9 and 10 are attempts of palace detailed floors. Still needs work though.
