Sounds wonderful, but aren't such maps very slow because of the extreme amount of sectors?

Hey! It looks like something that we should try. BTW Ramborc, I think the same, but who knows how the hell it works? I'll give it a try and see what happens, maybe Janis or someone could create something like that for Vavoom <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> .

I thought there is no need for that because Vavoom can read ZDOOM stuff, or?

If not, it's not a problem to implement it, just another way to specify a slope.

Well, I made a small test of it, it works really well, you just need to make a gray scale image with 8-bit palette and run it through the command line program (type -help as parameter to display the different parameters that can be used), I might need to make some more tests, but it seems that Vavoom is not able to use the slopes made by it, I don't know if it's because of the ID Number that the slope thing has in Vavoom or because of something else, I'll do more tests of it and see what the problem is...

If there's no major slowdown, it would be a great tool, I'd have to see how I can take real-world maps and export them into such a grayscale image.
