KRPG Milestone 3 (internal Alpha) progress update

Milestone 3 covers following part of the storyline, with 3 locations:
4.big port city, rumors lead you to the desert in the east 5.small settlement at the edge of the desert, you get directions to the ancient burial grounds nearby 6.necros (5 maps)
It also includes following technical features:
Basic RPG features like experience and leveling Travel map with at least 3 waypoints At least two town maps At least one hub of dungeon maps NPCs with simple conversations Fighter weapon system

From this feature list, points 1 and 5 are completely done, I am going to deliver the last part of point 3 as well as point 4. That leaves points 2 and 6, can you report your progress on those?

Points 3 and 4 are also done, they are uploaded to the milestone directory. That leaves only two open bullet points. Point 2: the travel map needs following 3 waypoints: port city, desert village and necros (locations 4, 5 and 6 in the concept document). The game starts in the port city, where the player can wander around and talk to NPCs but nothing else, it's mostly stress testing the big map through different computer systems. Using the south gate, you emerge to the travel map, from where you can go eastwards only, with no forks in the road and no waypoints until you reach the desert village. From the desert village, if you exit the travel map, you can now only go further east, to necros. Once you enter the necros, there is no way back to the travel map for the moment. The necros is an unedited hub, mostly there to see if there are any crashes with the current engine when playing combat maps. CW can you do this or should I try myself (will probably take longer)? Point 6: FB is working on it. Additional tasks needed: - making sure the town maps and necros don't conflict due to same map numbers - configuring the music pieces for each of the 7 maps (defining which map has what music will be posted in the music thread) Unless I missed something, at this point we should have the working internal alpha to be tested by a few people. Once the more problematic bugs are fixed, MS 3 can be regarded as completed.
