Another error I wanted to mention, although I'm not sure how easy it is to fix. If you're playing a LAN game (and I imagine the same with an internet game) the game will freeze up for all the other players if the host leaves the game. But otherwise networking seems to work pretty good actually, for deathmatch at least. Just thought I'd mention it.

I do not even know if this engine bug or our bug. I wonder how I can test LAN play

VMware Workstation and VMware Server (the latter is free but not sure about whether it allows you to install WinXP as a guest OS) allows you to set up a virtual network between the virtual machines.

Does this mean I will have to install OS for another 1-2 times physically on my HDD? I probably will have possibility to test LAN 29-30th december on my work, I made one guy there interested in our game, so Edit: I found VMware Server description, it mentiones following OSes are unsupported:
Windows XP Professional (32/64bit) Windows XP Home Windows 2000 Professional Red Hat Linux 7.0 Red Hat Linux 7.1

And if you ever possibly get a fix for it, I can always test it out. Networking is easy for me to do with my brothers computer as well.

Is it possible for us to make an internet game together I wonder? Since following days will be holdiays in all countries, there should be some free time for this. I tried with Firebrand a year ago or so, but we did something wrong last time.

Firebrand

Ramborc said that if I had a master server executable compiled, I could ask him to host it somehwere, we would need to know the IP Address of the master server, so it can be added to the KA config and used for looking for internet games being hosted by someone . I agree with you all that it would be cool to play online, we could even make the announcement if we run an Internet game without problems.

[quote="Firebrand":r8e35j5m]Ramborc said that if I had a master server executable compiled, I could ask him to host it somehwere Can't we just play using common IP connection without master-server; I mean when someone starts the game on its PC and tells others its IP and other join game on given IP? About time, well, I am the most eastern here (GMT + 3), so unless those in American continent like to play during deep night, I have to wait till evening to play with you

I'm in bed at midnight, and I don't plan to wake up. So I guess you have to wait till evening.

We tried connect with Firebrand. For some reason we could not play when FB hosted the game, but we could when I run the master-server and hosted the game as well. Unfortunately Firebrand's game lagged too much to play properly
