Oh and not sure about where you are, but as far as I care, it's just gone 00:00 on the 7th of may.

Happy birthday moose
And now for the occassional "omg posting lyrics" post.
You're older than you've ever been
and now you're even older,
and now you're even older,
and now you're even older.
You're older than you've ever been
and now you're even older,
and now you're older still.
TIME....IS MARCHING ON
AND TIME, IS STILL MARCHING ON
This day will soon be at an end
and now it's even sooner,
and now it's even sooner,
and now it's even sooner.
This day will soon be at an end
and now it's even sooner,
and now it's sooner still.
You're older than you've ever been
and now you're even older,
and now you're even older,
and now you're even older.
You're older than you've ever been
and now you're even older,
and now you're older still.

Indeed Cheapy, and not I feel older than I was when I started typeing this.
Now I feel even older,
And older still
[a few years pass]
Older still, and older .

Not sure if I should be happy your back around here or sad that I'm closer to death.
Good to see you again, I was wondering where you'd got to.
Mon, 16 May 2005 12:38:10
I'm still around (although my site may not be). I had to take a break from making maps for a while, but I hope to start again fairly soon.
Mon, 16 May 2005 15:55:36
I still've got a full backup of your site if you need one, to get it online under the old URL you just need to talk to the guy I told you about half a year ago (the one who bought RGN), if you don't have the e-mail addy any more just PM/mail me.
Mon, 16 May 2005 17:18:44
I don't know how many emails that were lost because I couldn't receive emails from ravengames.com or korax-heritage.com. It's been like that for who knows how many months now. Also, the cox.net email kept getting so much spam and little else (if anything) that I basically just filtered everything out.
Anyway, what did happen to the site? Was it all of ravencommunity.net or just my site that was shut down?
Mon, 16 May 2005 20:11:04
The whole RavenGames Network has a new owner since last year, what he does or doesn't is something I have no knowledge of, you should talk to him directly (send me a PM if you need the e-mail addy). What I know is that if you don't hang on the URL as such, FilesNetwork could host you as they host a bunch of old RavenCommunity sites like http://heretichides.soffiles.com/ or since you are using new code in your project you might get a place on SourceForge (that's where both Korax' Heritage and Vavoom are hosted too).

Moose, I know I'm about a week overdue, but Happy Birthday buddy! 17 is definitely a year of excitement. It's not that big a difference from 16, but you are definitely more mature and thus get more responsibilities. This is the part of your life that really shapes you into who you become as an adult. It was always like that from the beginning, but now more than ever. I wish you best of luick on your new year, and if you have the spare change, go get the new System Of A Down album; it's pretty good.
Sat, 21 May 2005 10:06:01
Thanks Lucas, yeah 17 is definantly started out as a good year, well if you ignor all these blasted exams I'm now doing . I'll be good and turn into a wonderful young man, well more so than already .
I was planning on maybe getting the new System of a Down album on wednesday when I go to see Star Wars Episode 3.
Wed, 25 May 2005 21:11:26
That new Star Wars movie is really good! I have just seen it today, heh!
Wed, 25 May 2005 22:32:24
Today? I've seen it last Friday... It's better than EP1&2, but still nowhere near the original trilogy.
Thu, 26 May 2005 11:39:58
I've seen it last saturday. Good one.
Thu, 26 May 2005 11:43:40
I'll be seeing it in 5 hours, if all goes well, no ones been intelligent enough to prebook, and I can't.
Thu, 26 May 2005 13:55:34
Then I'll wait to post that comment about what Ramborc posted, I don't want to spoil the fun to you Moose, heh!
Thu, 26 May 2005 14:11:58
Well send me in a PM then, I want to know what you want to say.
Thu, 26 May 2005 14:32:04
Well, here's the first part, heh! The rest you might get it in a PM
[quote="Ramborc":10wvn0tf]It's better than EP1&2, but still nowhere near the original trilogy.
I agree with you, it's the best movie of the new trilogy, but I don't know, I think George Lucas wanted to tell a lot of details of the story in one movie, things happen really fast (since EP. II is the same fashion), I think that's what makes the movie loose one of the things that made the first trilogy worth the admiration it deserves, things were told with lots of details, you could meet the worlds created by his mind in a certain cool way.
In the new trilogy things go too slow in the first episode, let's face it, the pod races suck!! when I saw the movie a second time I got bored by that part a lot, everything after that is better. In episode II everything happens too fast, making you not enjoy the stuff as in the first trilogy.
Thu, 26 May 2005 14:58:41
The one thing that bothered me about the movie was that you had to watch the Clone Wars cartoon series to fully understand parts of the movie, especially Grievous.
Thu, 26 May 2005 17:49:02
I must agree that things there happened too fast.
But the race was OK.
Thu, 26 May 2005 17:59:02
I don't know... I've watched EP3 first and then the cartoons because my domestic animal made me to, but I didn't have the feeling I got any new info I'd have needed. The words I'd describe the cartoons with are boring and amateurish. As for EP 2, it wasn't moving too fast, rather a bit too slow, they should've thrown out some of the stuff (but could've put in some of the deleted scenes, especially the one with Padme's family).
EP3 is bad coreography, I was wondering in advance how you can put so much happening in one single film and then I sat there and watched it and the first half of it was mostly wasted because very little was there that was necessary. And so in the end all the important stuff got pushed to the last hour of the movie or so, making it somewhat cramped and with too little detail. And as far as showing Anakin's character development and showing us why he turned to the dark side, the movie rather fails. There are some really cool parts in it though to state the good too... it is also a more or less "true" Star Wars movie, unlike ep1&2.
As for ep 1, what was the alternative? Making a movie that jumps through time again and again, following a boy's growing up through a decade or more? It might've turned out even worse than it was this way. This way, ep1 is something of a prequel to the whole series (though half of its content should've been thrown out, and no I'm not talking about Jar-Jar Binks whom I find funny unlike many people). One big mistake the new trilogy makes is trying to tie up far too many loose ends - Artoo, Threepio and Chewbacca should've never appeared in the new trilogy, same goes for that Antilles guy (who's most probably the father of Wedge, that was so dumb it pissed me really off).
There are also some serious lapses in the whole structure, if you think about it, too many things can't possibly stay put for the next 20 years between ep 3 and 4, several things have been displayed in a way in ep 3 that ep 4 could practically commence at once, and that's wrong.
Oh yes has anyone else noticed how Old Republic starships are looking way more modern than later Imperial and Rebel ones?
Thu, 26 May 2005 17:59:49
Hey Firebrand if you disliked the pod race scene in the movie, what would you say about the extended version on the special edition DVD?

Sun, 29 May 2005 00:00:37
So I'll teach you some beautifull words, for example:
1.- The sunset: La puesta de sol (sol = sun; puesta = when sun dissapears [set])
2.- The prettiest woman: La mujer mas bonita (mujer = woman; mas = superlative; bonita = pretty)
3.- Korax, I will kill you today!!!!! : ???? Korax, hoy te matar? !!!! (hoy = today; matar? = kill you)
and finally
4.- This is the Korax Mod's forum: Este es el foro del Mod de Korax. (Este = this; es = is; el = the; foro = forum; del = possesive prepossition [ 's ]; de = preposition)
So, i think this was productive hahahha....
And how is it said in french?
See you
Sun, 29 May 2005 03:14:20
LOL ok, I'll retranslate the same phrases:
1. The sunset: Le coucher du soleil (Le coucher = the setting; du soleil = of the sun)
2. The prettiest woman: La plus belle femme (La plus belle = the most beautiful; femme = woman)
3. Korax, I will kill you today!: Korax, je te tuerai aujourd'hui! (Je = I; te = you; tuerai = will kill; aujourd'hui = today)
4. This is the Korax Mod forum: C'est la salle du message de Korax Mod. (C'est = This is; la salle du message = the message board; de Korax mod = of Korax Mod)
Well there you go. BTW anybody else here come and translate Karnizero's four phrases with languages you know! LOL I think another linguistics thread is coming up!

Hey I literally just got back from the theatre, and I saw the new Star Wars. IMO, it was an excellent bridge from Episode II to IV, as I think the plot was summed up quite nicely.
