It's crashing all the time in River of Fire, both D3D and OpenGL. Going to try other maps.

Same on Agio, by the time I put in bots and try to start, it crashes back to the desktop.

yeah, every time more or less a different one. Sorry for not having written them down. One was a Z_malloc the rest I don't remember.

AFAIR the game drops a debug.txt file in the "basev" folder of the directory where you extracted the files, I don't know if it would help, but try to delete the config files from every directory in the "basev" folder and the "karena" folder, maybe that's causing a problem there, if that doesn't help, then copy the last lines of the debug.txt file and post them here, that might help me to know what's wrong, it's really strange, I tested everything in my computer and my laptop, and everything runs fine, here...

Next time the game exits with a crash I'll copy+paste here (last time it worked fine). BTW how do I run the rain and snow maps?

You can edit the bat files using edit in a M$-Dos box, adding the -file parameter at the end of the command line, but be aware that the snow stuff makes the game flicker because of the problem with the net code, the rain works fine AFAIK, but it might have problems with bigger open areas, if you want you can check the ACS scripts to see how it works <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->. BTW, did you noticed any improvements on the bots? Or their changes aren't too noticeable? I'm asking this because there's room for much more stuff to be added/improved in the code, but I think it already makes the bots a bit smarter, mainly in the move routines.

I still encountered stuck bots, hard to say whether there was less of them than before. <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) --> I asked about the rain/snow because including the wadfiles with the -file attribute made Vavoom create the nodes and vis data, then crashed to the desktop when trying to run them:

As I suspected, the maps I included in the ZIP file were wrong, their node tables are damaged, I don't remember what was wrong with the node builder when I saved them, but I forgot I had the fixed versions somewhere else, I have uploaded a new ZIP file here: [url:2iqktv8x]http://downloads.orcishweb.com/koraxdev/arena/Test.zip

It doesn't happen in all maps at all times, it might have something to do with the (high) number of bots I've spawned. Also, I tried spawning a Witchaven bot only once and the game crashed right away, is it actually in the game or not yet, only the console command?

There are bots of every class already implemented in the game, what map did the crash happened? I haven't been able to reproduce any of the bugs you mention here Ramborc <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? --> , I'm starting to think if something is missing from the ZIP file I uploaded, but I tested it myself extracting to an independant folder, everything works fine, I'm really confused about what could be causing the bugs... I would like someone else on the team to test the latest beta and tell me if the bugs happen on their system too or not, that would be useful for me to know if something's wrong with the ZIP file or the code or both, heh! <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->, I don't have any problem running it myself.

It was in Agio. But hey don't take it hard, many of the bugs I'm encountering in B3 were in previous versions as well, they are not new ones. Still others are things I maybe never tried before (like 7 bots in some maps). In case you misunderstood me, the picture I drew in the new discussion topic about KA future wasn't only about the latest build but about previous builds as well and the outlook on how fast things can be fixed.
