Why are the D'sparil, disciple, Herisiarch, dark bishop messages spelled backwards anyway? BTW:I reversed the disciple and D'sparil sounds and incorprated them into this one wad for heretic, kinda neat actually <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Actually, only D'sparil and Disciples talk backwards. Bishops and Heresiarch is just gibberish. (Yes I went through the trouble of exporting the wavs and reversing them with goldwave) Oh, and I reversed Koraxes quotes and used them in a WAD I made (you know when he says "Greetings Mortal..." and such and such) =) Is your WAD any good? I'd like to see it.

Actually all I just did was extract the disciple and D'sparil sounds, reversed them then incorporated the reversed sounds into a wad with wintex. It can be easily done. But you didn't answer my question about why the disciples and D'sparil talk backwards (as in why did the developers have that way.)

It could be something similar to the Doom's final boss sounds, they are also backwards, I don't know exactly what it says tough.

If you mean the Icon Of Sin, he says "To win this game, you must kill me, John Romero."

What, you're saying that they were inspired by doom 2's final boss sound?
