Post anything concerning this topic into this thread, I closed the old one as it acted strangely (see still another thread explaining it).

Actually the whole forums have begun to act strangely - when opening some pages my Internet Explorer crashed many of times. And also that "Couldn't send email" thing when posting. Anyways, did you get those maps I converted (they are in Vavoom account since I failed to connect to koraxdev using FAR Manager)?

Since when are you using IE? I thought you were a Mozilla user... The e-mail thingie is because of your provider - this message pops up every time when someone has topic notification switched on and a non-working e-mail addy in the profile (with non-working I mean that this mail server couldn't reach it). I haven't yet had time to check the 2 maps, I will soon, along with the map pack from Ichor.

Well, right now to browse Internet we have a common computer, which doesn't have Netscape installed. Also that's why I needed web-mail to read my mail. And that e-mail thingie doesn't appear anymore.

1) Install Mozilla and get rid of the popups on RavenGames. Install Netscape 4 and get rid of all ads on RavenGames. It's free! (LOL j/k) 2) That's because the path from this server to your e-mail provider is clear again.

I can't install anything here because I don't have admin rights. Also this is a very low-end computer which also is low on disk space. Too bad I don't have my computer right now (one of the bad tings in moving to Cyprus).

Cyprus = the mediterranean island ???

Yep, that's right. More exactly it's Limassol city.

Wow I somehow missed this part of the info back then - I knew you moved for the job, but I thought you moved to another part of the city or another city in Latvia.

Yeah, it was quite a big change, but it was necessary for the company to grow.

RambOrc

But I thought it was a Latvian company?

It was very hard to find good guys in Latvia, so it started to invite guys from other countries (Lithuania, Russia, Ukrain), but bringing them to Latvia has become a great problem, so it was decided to move to Cyprus, were it's easy to do. As our boss says "It's business". (BTW he's american).

Let me guess... the publisher of your company is JoWood, right?
Tue, 13 May 2003 16:25:23

dj_jl

Heh, actually none of us really knows who is the publisher (except our boss, of course). But if he's publishing games for coin machines running Linux, then it might be.

I've been wondering. Did anyone see the maps I posted a link for in that other thread before it was messed up? If not, here it is. Not all of them are in there yet, but most of them are. I still have to work with the scripts to make sure they work on the maps they are supposed to.

I've checked them out. I noticed that some maps are missing. You will find some of them in maps/converted folder on koraxdev, and then there's these ones. BTW RambOrc, where's mines map? Wel, there's some work is needed to balance them, add conversations, etc.

RambOrc

I've downloaded it, just didn't have time to take a look at it yet. Sorry.

Let's try it again, this time from Netscape I checked this wad. There's still some problems with balance and other stuff. I also noticed that there some maps are missing. Some maps can be found on koraxdev/maps/converted and than there's final two maps converted here.
