Well, I didn't believe it (from AD&D rules) but the other day I saw some History Channel doc and they actually said Bishops, Popes etc used maces for exectuions, punishments or even battles, because somehow beating someone's bones, organs and tissues to a bloody pulp isn't as schocking and "unholy" as sheding blood?
People come up with some very "interesting" reasonings when they need it...
Hmmm... Guess you guys are reading your share of Thus Spake Zarathustra, no? <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) --> BTW, always wondered how it would be to read it in original german, there was a time I was very frustated by the suspection my portuguese version might have butchered the meaning of most of it. One day I'll learn german and read the original text!
