Ugh

I got stuck big time in Carnage Galore. I wanna say that it's a great mod though, Ichor really hit the nail by bringing the tomes back. Also, he met some of my ideas... one of the first things I did when I started monkeying around wtih Vavoom was an upgraded Serpent, and a centaur with floorfire. Anyways, I'm playing the Fury version. I have solved the puzzle, entered the haunted castle, and I have the swamp key. I've seen 2 silver coins, but I have no idea as to how to get them (one of them is guarded by a rusted keyhole). Anyone know where to go next?

Don't worry about the coins right now. You'll need to find the silver key. In this version, it's hidden in a random, but still easy to find spot. Once you find the key, you can either open the silver doors in the sewers. That leads to the boss fight and the hub exit. Or you can go through the silver doors upstairs. You'll find a silver coin there. Get it and go back to map one and use it to get the Yorick's Skull. Eventually you'll get the rusted key, and you'll be able to go down to the secret level. In a new version, which I'll release if I can ever get this third hub done, the key will be easier to find and you'll only need to use one Yorick's Skull instead of 3, which cuts down on some of the walking around.

Hm, so I need the key... is it in the castle? If not, is it on a meaningful place? I mean, not in the kind of places which are similar rooms that repeat revealing almost nothing of value (that is quite a realistic touch IMO). Another thing, are those wizards who dissapear and hellstaff you spawned randomly? I'm meeting them often in places I already explored Each of them is costing me about 6 flasks, at the lowest dificulty level. And one last thing, does the 5th weapon already exist in the last release put up for download? If so, where?

The silver key is in the castle somewhere. Those wizards aren't spawned randomly. It just seems that way because you can't see them unless they're about to attack you. Either some were dormant and were activated later on, or they were resurrected by those floating ghosts. As for the fifth weapon, it's in the second hub, but in order to find it, you'll have to go to the secret level in the first hub. Otherwise, you'll find it in the third hub.

Oooh nice.

Please tell me the skulls didn't need to be placed in any particular order... EDIT: Nevermind that. However, I do have a suggestion. Maybe the potions of regeneration could be health based instead of time based. I mean, they could, for example, gradually release 150 health instead of healing you for a minute or whatever the time is.

I was thinking about that, but I decided to make it like that and change the mystic urn a little. You'll see when you come across one in map 6.

I just did, but I read it in the features section of your site anyway

I just got through the whole thing with the fighter The 5th weapon looks familiar, maybe I've seen it on a boss or something The maulotaurs and the full serpents are nice. I've noticed that sometimes when you use a disc of repulsion on enemies in a certain place (I've seen it in the Icy caverns) they just die. This is probably an engine bug though. Also, poison damage doesn't work, I can hear the guy moaning, and see it all green, but the health doesn't go down.

No, that's not a bug. It's odd, but it was put in there on purpose for whatever reason. If you use the disc of repulsion on something and it ends up hitting a block monster line, it damages them, usually until it dies.
