Necromancer

A couple months back I had to write a poem for my English class. I decided to take it upon myself to write one about the serpent riders . This is what I wrote: I shall tell you a tale from ages past, That of the three serpent riders. They came from a place where demons mass To conquer the worlds of nonbelievers. The first of the three was D’sparil, Rode a great monstrous serpent did he. Conquered the world of Pathoris Only to be by a brave hero slain was he. Alas for the hero known as Corvus, Whose blade by which the serpent rider was slain. Upon death his enemy issued a dying scream Cursing him to forever walk the barren plane. The second of the three was Korax, Who greater than his brother had power. Three great souls from the world of Cronos Seeked out and brought him lower. The third of the three was Eidelon, Whose power had the greatest. In Thyrion it soon became That his fall was the latest. With all three serpent riders in defeat, Their reign still lived on. For the evil wizard Preavous Attempted a resurrection. So whaddyas think.

The sign of a true smite-meister. Truth be told, I think most of the meters are too choppy, but overall it's a fun read.

As a (shitty) song (attempted) writer, I must say your knowledge of the serpent riders is impressive, and it rhymes quite nicely, but the metrics are a little odd (I may just not get it), and I never understood poetic English speak.

Err... likewassaid, "may be I do not understand something"... I am not sure about words order in some phrases - for me it sounded like a russian who tries to speak english by literally swapping words in russian phrases to english variants. For example: "Who greater than his brother had power." Is it really allowed to say like that in english language? (Ok, poetic english language?)

Dont worry 10 year old kids can write better poems now than most people in the Dark Ages, BTW it wasnt that bad for your 1st attempt.
