Some Korax Arena ideas

I have been thinking a way to implement something I really like from UT2003, the adrenaline combos, for those who don't know about it, it's mainly a counter that grows up with every kill you make or if you pick up an special item for it, once it reaches a maximum level (100) then you can make a combination of keys to perform a powerup. What I thought for KA is to add some colored gems (crystals) to make them different depending on which powerup they give, and make a counter grow up with kills/items to give the player an slight advantage, of course we could make the power last longer depending on the player's level (just to make it fair for everyone), maybe make it last longer on lower level players to have more chances with the higher level ones. I got some ideas for the powerups it could be something like this: Red Gem: It could make the player shot double projectiles. Blue Gem: It recovers the player's health by one until the counter goes back to zero, if health level is to the MAX it gives armor. Yellow Gem: It makes the player move faster. White Gem: It makes the player jump higher. Green Gem: It makes the player's armor stronger to all attacks. Purple Gem: It makes all the player attacks stronger. So, what do you all think?? if you want to make any changes to this post them here.

Here's a brief description of the new class I have been thinking on, it's a kind of Were-Panther warrior that comes from the Mazaera?s steamy jungles in Thyrion, it comes to the tournament to show that it's race is stronger than the humans and to prove himself to be a skilled warrior. It has big speed at expenses of his power, it likes to have it's enemies close by using close range weapons (and some long range ones too), he has his own claws as weaponry, also know how to use some kinds of swords and bows, they have knowledge on making poison darts to shot at their prey. I still need to think on the other weapons, but I'm doing a big advance (I think <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->), anyway tell me what do you think about it and if we can implement it into the game and I will start the sprites for both the character and the weapons.

OK here is how you (or everyone else) should suggest a new class: do some preliminary work, i.e. writing up a concept on how this character generally is (as you did here) and list his weapons and some other info you find useful, maybe make a concept drawing or two. Then before starting with more time-intensive work (like sprites or in-screen weapons), start a new thread with this info and make it a poll so that every team member can both discuss and vote about this new character.
