I originally e-mailed these to RambOrc before registering on this forum, but he's really busy so he suggested posting them here. When playing Korax mod in the first hub of DeathKings I got to a point when trying to go through this one portal (which I hadn't used before but was to an area I was before), the game would crash. Here is my save data you could put in a Hexndata directory for Korax Mod 2.6 with DeathKings to try out. If you load the save named ruined village, go forward, drop down, take the swamp door on your right, and go into the portal, it crashes immediately after ethereal travel. If you load one of the newer save games: badlands or pyre and go to that same portal it'll be fine. I can't sell things to the shop in DeathKings of the Dark Citadel. You can see by loading one of my save games and exiting the hub. I also had a problem with multiplayer. A TCP game worked fine between two Win 98 computers on the network in my apartment but a Win XP Home Edition computer couldn't connect with them, while ZDoom works fine for all of them. The Win XP comp would just freeze for while then cancel when trying to join a server. Then when I started a server with the XP one it completely locked up one of the 98's. I'm going to give IPX a try. I guess this problem might not be of much of concern since you're switching to Vavoom but I thought I'd report it just in case. A few years ago I started a Hexen level called Guillotine of the Gods. You can find it here. It was going to be a huge coliseum type level and I was planning to add a huge basket by the main attraction. The level doesn't look right in Korax mod though. Parts of the structure disappear into the sky and there's a wood texture shown strangely instead of sky when the blade comes down. If you check it out in normal Hexen it looks like it's supposed to. Let me know if you have any use for it in Scattered Evil or something and I'd certainly be motivated to make the rest of the level or maybe I could let you use it in one of your levels. BTW, you might want to run glbsp on guillo.wad before using it with Korax mod, but it doesn't seem to fix anything. Finally, if you'd like some freaky voices similar to Korax's greetings at the beginning of hubs, I can do that. You can check out sounds I recorded for someone in aftsnd.zip or more of a variety in goksnds.zip here.

Multiplayer as far as I'm concerned is currently unsupported infact KMod 3 onwards it will be disabled. [quote="Gokuma":u7yv98my]A few years ago I started a Hexen level called Guillotine of the Gods. This probabally has somthing to do with doomsday so it can't really be fixed, well not by me.

We'll probabaly be looking for voice overs in a year or so, and I'll listen to you later this evening. I'll have a look at your other problems later this evening as well and see what I come up with

It's probably a source port base issue (Doomsday and when you switch to Vavoom), but please don't actually disable the multiplayer. Between a couple of computers it seemed to be working fine for me. It's possible that coop play might break at some point due to becoming more complicated but deathmatch might still work perfectly fine in the event that happens.

Exactly coop is the only thing interesting in the classic KMOD multiplayer... for deathmatch, Korax Arena should be a full replacement.

Even if the normal hubs break down, people still might be able to make ones that do work in coop. Disabling multiplayer would just unneccessarily close off options.
