What would the Flechette do if Corvus, Witch Haven, and the Doom Marine used it on KA? There happy?

Same as the other 3 classes, every player class in KA can switch between the three different flechette modes.

Marine should possibly drink them and spit out alcogol vapors to confuse enemies... j/k

Also, for completeness of answer, in earlier versions of KA when classes couldn't switch between flechette modes the three non-Hexen classes were each paired with a Hexen class for flechette functionality: marine with warrior, heretic with mage (replicating original Heretic functionality of the time bombs), hero with cleric.

That seems a lil boring, couldnt we just make up a new function for them?

With any of the 6 classes you play, you get 8 unique primary and 6 non-unique secondary weapons. That's a total of 54 weapons. How boring is that?

You know, seriously, in the heat of the deathmatch it is probably the least thought that may come to a mind of a player - that the fact that everyone can use flechettes in all 3 modes at will is boring

The reason why i say it is that, any person with basic knowlegde of Hexen would expect the flechette to do something different for all classes.

Believe me when I say this , wait for the next beta, you'll see that it's not important at all, heh!

Maybe the other 2 modes from Hexen 2 could be added. The tripline and the heat-seeker. Not sure how it could work in Hexen... And I'm pretty sure the Paladin got a MUCH BIGGER explosion than the fighter's fletchette, with more power than the mage and a more controllable throw than the fighter. What gives with that non-balance?

Before you further disgrace yourself, let me inform you that Hexen II is held in a pretty low esteem by quite a few people here. It had awesome architecture for its time but in pretty much every other way it was inferior to Hexen.
