Project members and contributors: strength and weaknesses

To better complement each other, it's probably helpful to know each other's strengths and weaknesses. I will start with my strengths and weaknesses regarding this project. Strengths: - imagining/creating a world: I have been built worlds and scenarios for games since pre-puberty (I was about 10 or so when I created my first strategy board game) - creating concepts: I like to ask the rest of the team for input on how something should work, but I have no problems envisioning and describing a concept on my own if desired - basic image manipulation: I can modify a texture to create a new variation, create mockups etc. - basic mapping: I can create map structures and map flow, albeit not as fast as a pro Weaknesses: - programming/scripting: I have a rudimentary understanding of coding in general, but very little actual knowledge and not much desire to improve - managing game resource files: I have had a lot of trouble in the past adding resources to game files, especially with wadfiles; many types of things, I also don't know how

Hmm, well... Strengths: - Coding, software developing (professional level); - Average mapping skills (more or less...); - Drawing simple concept art by hand <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/orc2.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->; Weaknesses: - Can't do sprite art and especially multi-framed animation; simply don't possess enough patience to do this (let alone skills). - Easily change my mind and mood regarding active project(s) without proper motivation <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/orc4.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P --> usually need people around to be sure my work is actually needed; - English isn't my native language, so I express my thoughts in a confused manner sometimes.

Firebrand

Strengths: - Coding, software development. - Design input or ideas, these don't come really fast, but I have my bright moments, lol. - A bit of mapping skills; I really don't have the patience to build a whole map (but I can <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/orc2.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->), but I can edit already built maps and find and fix problems with maps <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/orc9.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->. - 2d Artwork skills, mine are not really strong, but I can draw edits of existing sprites. - Imagination, I can come up with some ideas if needed. - ACS scripting knowledge. - Engine coding access. Weaknesses: - English isn't my native language, sometimes my ideas aren't clear. - Not much free time <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/orc10.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( -->. - I sometimes forget the tasks I have to complete for the project and get distracted by other things. - Sometimes I'm too tired to work on this.
