Please,can someone help me whit new weapons generation?

HI!I'm making a new wad for hexen.I have think to put 1 or 2 new weapons for any characters in game,or new object or monsters.I don't knoow c++ language,but i can learn it.I have downloaded some source file of some hexen mod for view it and see how is his structure.I have see a lot of file,and i don't know if it's are necessary for make new thing whitout an external engine like jhexen or otherthing. You could start with Vavoom. It has a neat QuakeC-inspired game code language that compiles into 2 dats - client and server. Multiple platform support and all. I'm a QuakeC programmer but I haven't touched Vavvom's code but I thought that may be a good start, since I say QC is good for beginners anyway. One drawback from Vavvom though, and at least on mine, it's slow <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( -->

Vavoom works fine for me. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> Wonder if its because I'm doing it in the lowest Resolution Possible. Anyways, I agree with Cheapy, Vavoom would be a good idea.
