Firebrand

Hey people! I'm back here uploading the finished version of the colored fighter's order leader sketch that Mago did before, I also have uploaded my avatar to KDev into the avatars directory (I don't know if that is okay, but if it isn't please make any corrections and give me the location of the avatar ). I will be doing more NPC's and upload them as they are ready, I personally think that it looks pretty good and I hope you all like it...

Nice work Firebrand, we can start populating our world with people soon. Only one small problem I can see, you will also be able to see here and here. As you can see he's quite tall. Is this easy to fix or not?

The sprite already looks like it's been stretched vertically, so shrinking it down should not only be fairly easy, but it would also make it look a little better.

Maybe you made a typo Moose? At any rate, the NPC looks real cool.

No don't think I made a typo, where in me post do you think I made a mistake.

I meant something like adding a wrong attribute to the sprite's def.

Nope not me, just look at it in Paint Shop next to a fighter sprite. Although nothing so far says that there are no giants in Cronos.

I don't see the need for any when you can have just about any cool monster you want.

Thanks for your comments on my avatar, I really like both of the games, they are very good , about the new stuff you made, the hands that you are using are a very good base, but you could make them a bit more similar to the hands of an ettin (maybe a more brownish color and try to take out the scales thay have and I think they will be ready. OTOH I really like the burning frames you made, pretty cool work, I think those are very good , the figther's torch is cool too, but I think that we could make it look a bit more like the sprite of the artifact (or make the artifact look more like the torch the fighter holds in your sprites which may be easier to do ) if you have any question, please ask and I will try to help you out. I didn't notice the problem with my sprites (I didn't have any way to test it into the game, sorry about that in the future I will check it using some sprites from the original game and testing them with it), anyway, this is just a question, but you did mention something about scaling sprites in another thread, is there a way to scale the sprites into the game with some text file or a property of the thing or something? That could make those mistakes an easy thing to fix (well, I think ). I have made some small modifications to the image (comparing it with the mage player sprites), and it seems to be all right now (with some details lost because of the rezise, but I think that's all I can do for now if there is something else, please let me know Moose, also if you can post new pics of how it looks into the game so I can see it I will be really happy .

Don't scale it to the Mage NPC's size, that one had some kind of problem too if I recall it right (either with the size or the top of the head being cut off, not sure). Best you use the original Hexen player sprites as measure.
