heh i'm upgrading mmm 1.6ghz, maybe i can run vavoom at 20fps now

I've got a 1.25 GHz machine but if Vavoom would be ported, I think it'd run it at the max possible 60 fps in OpenGL or close to it.

I've got 1.6ghz and Vavoom runs like 50-60fps most of the time, the most detailed maps with dynamic lights in KA run at 45-40fps, so that's a good upgrade, lol <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> .

This post is too funny, I'm pretty sure you all know that the OpenGL performance depends primarily on the graphics card, and has barely anything to do with the CPU... especially that a 1.6 GHz CPU of different models can be very different in real-world performance, i.e. the Intel P4 and Celeron at 1.6 GHz compares to an AMD Athlon 64, Motorola G4 or IBM G5 1.6 GHz like a biplane to a jet fighter. <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->

Hey Merry Christmas to everybody! I'm really sorry I've been away for so many months, but last year high school is a cumber and I haven't been able to compose anything for such a long time. Good news is I still exist, and am free from any strains. This Christmas I have a lot of books to read: A Clockwork Orange, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Atlas Shrugged, and the complete score to Stravinsky's The Rite Of Spring. This work is such a beautiful masterpiece; ever since I first listened to it when I was 13-14, it opened my eyes and completely changed the way I thought music could be written.
