This is a shortcoming of the jHexen version we use... the first jHexen version that can restore saved netgames is nearly 2 years younger than our build, and it's about as compatible with our current codebase as ZDOOM or Vavoom - meaning there is no use trying to merge things. This shortcoming - which skyJake (author of jHexen) never cared to mention anywhere until we found out about it and I asked him directly - is one of the stronger reasons why we're migrating to Vavoom for all projects as soon as Scattered Evil is out.
