Next week, for the release of KMOD 2.2, I'll take the Korax site to the next level. It's a rather unwieldy stuff currently, it needs FTP to change stuff and if a menu item is changed, several pages have to be uploaded.
While it'll look pretty much the same, the new design will be much more modular, making it easier for me to manage the pages. Also, I'll set up news pages with a script to which all of you will get access. That means any of you has anything about the project to report to the public (things like the damage skin frames for a new monster have been completed, a new map was started upon, a new feature has been coded, etc.), you just log in from anywhere on the web and create the newspost in a minute or two. Automated processes and categories will make the news appear on both the main page (all news) and project-specific news in the corresponding sub-sections. This should make the site become much more alive and ppl will see easier what our current progress is. And since it won't be tied to me any more, the constant time probs I have lately won't hamper updates.
This is the occasion to change anything else regarding the site as well, so pls bring forth here any suggestions as to what should be different in the future. Besides above-mentioned changes, we already decided upon laying the KMOD and KMOD2 section together. I'll also rework the Development History section, making it truly what the name implies (earlier on, it was a lame excuse for a hidden newspage).
I'm awaiting any and all suggestions (or questions or whatever) up to the evening of next Monday.
