its pretty bad when you cant beat a game even with cheats right now i ve been playing hexen on my play station and ive been stuck on the 7 portals for around 3 months now any advice?

Press the switches at the guardian of steel, the ones after the stairs, on the side that was locked before getting the key. Try one, and take the elevator down. If that doesn't work, try the other. Same thing happened to me.

Like, how many stairs have you risen? How many of the doors have been opened up? 4? 6? Like the above poster says, there are switches on each level that "solve 1/6th of the puzzle" and two sixths are solved in each level. The switches up the stairs in the main hub level must be pulled, too. Try looking for a walkthrough online to get you through it, I'm sure there's plenty out there. There are two keys on the guardian of ice to get (fire and steel) and you need to use the fire mask somewhere in the guardian of ice. Are you past this point?
