Hey. I have this problem. When I run the Korax mod 3.0 beta, it froze on while intitalizing DirectSound. I tried to reinstall Directx 9, but it said it was already installed. <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? --> Also, I sometimes my sound doesn't play anything, and can only be fixed by a restart. Btw that A3D is shit does not play any sound at all. This is really annoying.

Have you tried looking for newer drivers for your sound card? Sometimes Direct X is shitty about that... Also asking, KMod 2.8 works fine?? It could be some other kind of problem if it does...
