Graphics for KA

To be able to add the Marine and Hero characters to KA, all the graphics and sounds are needed in a wadfile. Who would be willing to do this job and what's your estimated delivery date? It can be two different persons for the two different character classes. I think putting together the Marine stuff is easier because half of it is in a Hexen-compatible format and the other half is I think only palette changes. With the Witchaven character, I guess it'd mean more work, especially that every single entry needs to be extracted with GFE one by one.

I can help with the marine stuff, because I don't have any of the Witchaven's files (of course I could try it if you know where to download), my estimated delivery date would be next weekend because I got vacations and have much time to work on it, but I need to do some school work this week too (yuck!).

Hope you've got GFE, if not I'll have to dig up the files somewhere, the site itself went down like so many other ravencommunity sites whose owners never applied for the FilesNetwork hosting in a full month (neither in the 2.5 more since then).

I was finnally able to install the game again in my pc (my cd rom is dying fast, but worked this time), so I'll make the conversion for the Witchaven guy, don't worry Firebrand. I still don't have a date, but it'll probably be after tuesday...

If you find some weapons or spells not listed yet at <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.korax-heritage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1265">http://www.korax-heritage.com/forums/vi ... php?t=1265</a><!-- m --> from Witchaven but you find them cool, extract them too because some of the weapons for the classes will have to be replaced by something else anyway (Camper already threw out the Berserker and Morph Ovum for some obscure reasons, and the Fighter has too many similar - and similarly useless - weapons).

Just got a request list from Camper for more KA sprites:
Sprites for Weapon placement Fire Death Animation for Doom guy and maybe for Withhaven guy Frozen Death Animation for heretic, Doom and Withhaven Guy Lifechain for Doom and Witchhaven guy (optional)

I will try to make these for the Doom Guy I think it's just too soon to make the weapons for placement, as we don't know which ones are going to be working (just an opinion).

I meant to have a weapon placement sprite for every weaponclass (THIRD,FOURTH,...) something like a pile with a number floating above, so you can see, which class of weapon you are going to pickup

What's needed is a base graphics (a pile of weapons like a battle axe, a crossbow, a spellbook and a shotgun thrown in a heap), with a big number above it. This represents the weapon you'd pick up, i.e. if you see a weapon heap with the number 5 over it, that'd mean you pick up your weapon #5 if you run over that sprite. The numbers needed are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 (#1 and #2 you always have, #9 and #10 are represented by yellow discs and flechettes).
