Ever considered putting up some documentation?

Have you guys ever considered putting up some documentation? At the very least, you should consider a basic "Getting Started" page, to teach new users how to start running Korax. I downloaded the latest Korax Mod, 3 Beta. All that was included in the zip file was a wad and an exe. No README or anything. I tried using the WAD in the Doom emulator I have, prboom, but it didn't work. I tried running the exe under wine, and that didn't work either. I'm sure I could get it to work eventually. I guess I'd have to download the vavoom engine? I'm not looking for help. I'm sure I could figure it out. I'm just recommending you put up some documentation.

KMOD 2.x has a detailed documentation included with every download. Just follow the instructions there for KMOD 3 beta.

The EXE file included in the ZIP, is the Korax engine itself, the WAD file just has sprites for damage skins and other things, you just click on the EXE file and play, you can't use Korax Mod with any other source ports . EDIT: Make sure you place your hexen.wad file in the same directory where you unzip the files or the game won't start up.

I found this: http://www.korax-heritage.com/kmod/kmod_manual.html It is online documentation. The devs should make it easier to find. A big yellow link labeled "Documentation". To find it now, you have to click on Project Index, Korax Mod, Overview, and then a subtle "click here" for the manual. I forgot to mention earlier that I'm using Linux. Figured it wouldn't be a problem, because your sourceforge summary page says that you support Linux (as well as Windows, DOS, and all POSIX OSes). That seems to not actually be the case. I tried the exe under wine, and get an error. It would be nice if the documentation was more upfront about what was required to play. A "Requirements before you install" section would be nice. You could include that it requires the original Hexen wad. And that it requires Windows. But none of this would be very useful as long as the documentation remains hard to find. Documentation is important. Hard to do, and not particularly fun, but important.
