Do you think the people on Cronos have TVs?

*prays to Odin* (Please don't shoot me for making this topic) I ponder the Conoids are likely a highly advanced civilization, considering they have the technology of teleportation and their quietus and wraithverges can only be topped by our atomic bombs as weapons. Since HEXEN takes place in another world and is not a LITERAL representation of archaeac Europe, the fantasy is not merely binded to the whole knights and dragons sort of thing. I figure when the world orders are not busy at war with each other, the Clerics spend their spare time watching reruns of All in the Family and going to strip bars, the Mages are playing video games and driving motorcycles, and the Fighters are out playing Poker with their buddies and writing poetry. Maybe, maybe not. Comment? *Puts up his Flame Shield and puts on his anti-n00b plate armor for defense*

O yeah? Well I have the Mace of Moderation! I'll admit, you have a great imagination. Though I doubt a member of the church (Cleric) would spend his time with whores.

1) Hexen (and many other fantasy games) are modeled on medieval Europe. Archaic Europe (mostly Greece) is about 1500 years more back in time. 2) As a historic fact, members of the Catholic church whored around all through the centuries.

1) Still, it's only a model, so PaganRaven's little modernized fantasy is just as valid. 2) Well I never majored in history, so I'll take your word for it, but I refuse to believe that the Cleric himself would do such a [u:3s4pwd61]horr[/u:3s4pwd61]ible thing. (sorry, it's early in the morning and I just couldn't resist! LOL)

Uhhh I wasn't drunk last night when I made this topic. seriously. Traductus pressured the network to release Three's Company seasons 6-8 DVDs, while we're still stuck with only the first five! Traductus was a great and noble leader until he got turned into a superhuman zombie by the cosmic wandering demon wizards we know and love so much. But did the instruction manual include this little tidbit? NO! And think about it: They have the technological advances to fly, turn people into pigs, and heal people by using scrolls. No, not by READING, but by USING, which is something completely different which is probably vastly beyond our limits of comprehension (but it makes that cool noise when they do it!) They're probably capable of so much more! 4th Class: Haven't you heard of all those cases where Catholic Priests molest children? And just look at the monk in Inuyasha! But I believe Parias, of all the Clerics, would not do these things because he's the hero, with those other two guys with the funky names i dont care about. RambOrc: I was sorta thinking about ancient Celtia or sumthin, but they didn't have Clerics and stained glass, did they? I guess druids were the closest thing to that, and they're more like the mage. And didn't Christ become the law in Medeival Europe so everybody would hate/kill the mages? I'm not totally sure

1) There never was such a thing as "Celtia". 2) Glass was available long before the archaic period started.

What the? Then what the heck are the Celts and Celtic mythology? and I meant stained colored glass, not any old regular kind

RambOrc can answer your Celtic questions way better than I can. As for stained glass, all I know is that it's been around since at least the 12th century.
