I just realized 5 minutes ago that technically there is no reason to keep the developer forum together with the public Korax forums. It'd be relatively easy to split it into 2 different forums. Pro: - currently the total post count on the main page says 2155 and if you add the post count of the forums together, you come up to 1140, which looks rather weird (if you aren't a user with permission to access the devforum, you don't even see it listed on the overview page, you can confirm it by logging out and going to the main page of the Korax forums) - there could be several subforums of the devforum, making it more transparent Con: - one forum more that has to be checked - needs some work (though on my part only) I'd like to hear your opinions on this before doing anything.

Another forum to check isn't such a good idea. And also in this forum you can add subforums, i.e. under Developer group. So I'm voting for staying with current forums.

How about going back to how it was before: make it visible to anyone, but inaccessible. I remember someone asking about the progress of Korax Mod 2 or Scattered Evil (I can't remember which). Someone else said that you'll know the projects haven't gone anywhere lately when you see the Developers Forum hasn't been updated in a long time.

OK, you won the prize... it's the easiest solution, at least for the time being. Checked the PHPBB admin panel and found an option to change from Private (Hidden) to Private. Only drawback that it's not really advisable to have more than one private developer subforum, but I guess we can live with that (at least as long as there aren't a dozen members working on TSP and Arena parallelly, which would be nice of course <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> ).
