The updated journal is looking amazing, and the character banter adds a lot of charm to the entries. An updated map with friendly and unfriendly locations is very useful too, perhaps it could be filled by purchasing maps in the various regions of Charybdea.

That’s how it works, you need to find a vendor and purchase a map for a subregion before it shows up in your journal. What’s more, every single annotation on the maps is triggered by visiting a place or picking up a quest.
